Reminder to Check Student Progress
Tuesday, April 22 marked the midpoint of the 3rd Trimester. If you have not done so already, please check your student's progress on Parent Connect. Your child's current grades are an indication of how he/she is listening, following directions, completing work, and preparing for tests. Please contact me if you have questions or concerns regarding your child's progress.

Boxtops for Education
The last turn-in day for boxtops is April 30!! At the last count, our class was in the lead for another pizza party for having the most boxtops collected. Let's get all those boxtops in to keep the lead and win that pizza party!

  • Social Studies - We are working on finishing the Midwest section of our scrapbooks so that we can move on to the Southwest region of the United States.

Thank you to all of the families who were able to visit the classrooms and book fair Thursday evening. It was wonderful to see so many of you and share some of the things we have been working on in the classroom. Also, thank you for your generosity towards new books for the classroom. I had fun selecting many new titles for our library!

Mrs. Strong's Big News
As you have probably heard from your students, I will be joining the 5th grade team next year. I look forward to being able to see my current students in the hallways everyday, and perhaps in my classroom again!

Poetry Coffee House a Huge Success!
Thanks to Mrs. Foernssler and Mrs. Kozlowski who helped to provide treats and drinks for our Coffee House enjoyment. Also, thanks to all who shared a bit of rhythm and rhyme with us. It was neat to hear so many different kinds of poems with such expression and enthusiasm!

Students should be ordering lunch tickets on Mondays if they want to eat school lunches. They should not be visiting the office each morning for tickets. Tickets will not be given if a student does not have this exact amount! If you have questions or concerns about this school policy, please contact the Prairieview office.
