P.R.I.D.E! Awards

Subject Update:
ELA (English/Language Arts)
- Spelling - The Lesson 29 pretest will be given on Monday. The students will be assigned homework during the week to practice their words, and a final test will be given Friday. *Students will only be able to print 5 words "just in case" their cursive still needs work starting this week.
- English - The students will continue their grammar unit on adjectives. They will work with proper adjectives and prepare for the Unit 4 Adjectives Test scheduled for Friday, April 17th.
- Reading -We will be launching our last theme of the year, Hardships in History. Students will read various texts to help them answer our essential questions: How does the time period of the hardship impact future decisions and events? How are hardships in history similar and different?
Social Studies - We will review for the Chapter 8 Test scheduled for Tuesday, April 14th. Students will also continue working on a special project incorporating our cause/effect work and important events from Chapter 8.
Mrs. Strong's Math Class - We will continue Unit 6 on addition and subtraction of fractions. Students will be given opportunities for some problem-based learning next week. This means that they will be provided a real-life challenge involving fractions to solve.
